Is there anyone knows what the dscaler deinterlace plug-ins does ?
There is no explanations to all of the plugins or what effects are given by the plugins. Can anyone give me some explanations ?

This option will allow you to use filters for DScaler program. And you can find description on creator's pages or on Main DScaler page.

Note : not all deinterlace filters listed there are available in Dscaler Deinterlace Filter wich ChrisTV supports.

I dl'd the filter package but when I extracted it there was no .bat file to run as indicated in the readme.

Can anyone help?

After you unpack the deinterlace_filter.exe there will be a deinterlace folder and a readme.txt file.
Just run the Deinterlace\reg.bat file and then start ChrisTV Program.

I tried to use the DScaler plugin running the *.bat file in the download. The effect in ChrisTV was not that what I expected means not good. After I downloaded DScaler418 a full program set with user interface which allows to see a tv chanel too. This works extremly good, the picture is very sharp and brillant. I ask now if I can this features also use in ChrisTV. If it will work then I will purchase ChrisTV immediately because the rest of ChrisTV is really a big value and I like to support ChrisTV further development but I need a brilliant tv picture on the screen.

unfortunately, you can't use all of DScaler features in ChrisTV, because DScaler specific to BT8X8 chip series in opposite to ChrisTV, which tries to be compatible with absolutely any TV card. But ChrisTV can have any features provided by DirectX (or, of course, its author - Cristian). ChisTV have not yet its own deinterlace agorithm.

everytime i attempt to access either blendedclip or greedy h plug-in settings
I recieve access violation messages and the program usually hangs
any ideas?

Do you get an error on each deinterlace filter you choose ?
Try to reinstall the deinterlace filter.

I only get the erroe message when I attempt to access the two plug-in settings(blended clip and greedy h )If I dont try to access settings there is no problem .I have uninstalled deinterlace filter and reinstalled it but I still have the same problem.

Are you sure that you have installed the Deinterlace Filter from ChrisTV Download Page ?
Download it from http://www.chris-tv.com/download.html
Unpack it (for example in ChrisTV\Deinterlace Folder)
and run the Deinterlace\reg.bat and then launch ChrisTV.
