audio file not merging with video file

Post by entinion »

Hi -

I just recently (within the past week) got your program in order to save some exercise videos; however when downloading this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVaNc-4Q ... hp6VmEHaKQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the audio file does not merge with the video file and just remains as a [title]\.mp4.part.audio (blank white, no associated programs) file.

I also just tried to download this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0dmOFIhGtQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the same thing: no audio in the video file as it did not merge.

I have the settings to download at 720p HD - WebM VP8, and the actual video downloaded at 480p however I have tried different quality settings up in the video tab itself, as well as initially (after the first attempt resulting in a failed merge) switching the overall settings for all videos to download from 1080p HD - WebM VP8 to 720 ".

I have Unselected to have video files converted to anything; and prior videos have downloaded as they should from the same youtube user with no problems.

I have Youtube Settings Center add-on with DASH disabled and SPF enabled.

thanks

reply to myself: I fixed this issue by uninstalling then reinstalling (and overwriting the original folder) with the new download and it seems to have fixed itself. Thanks self. ha ha

It seems that there are problems with the converter download during install.
The next version should fix this problem in the future.
