ChrisPC Free VideoTube Downloader keeps crashing

I recently purchased a new laptop and installed ChrisPC Free VideoTube Downloader version 8.37 on it with the activated Add-On Package. The software is constantly crashing, oftentimes almost immediately. This happens whether on Anonymous Proxy or not, and whether I have anti-virus running or not. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the software multiple times to no avail. I did not have this issue on my previous laptop.

Could this be occurring because I used the same Add-On Package activation code on both devices? If so, is there a way to transfer the code from one device to another? If the Add-On Package activation code is not relevant, do you have any suggestions for resolution? I've contacted my laptop's tech support and they are no help.

Try this:
- uninstall the software.
- delete ChrisPC Free VideoTube Downloader folder from Program Files(x86)
- restart the PC
- install the software.
