YTD Pro crashing on playlist downloads

After years of using ChrisPC YTD Pro to download YouTube playlists with 99.9% perfection, I have started to find that I get about 5 or 6 videos downloaded from a playlist and then YTD not only crashes, but crashes the computer requiring a restart. The message is "Exception EAccessViolation in module ChrisPCMP3 at 000CE104". Any ideas what this means and how to get round it?
