Hi,

Do you use ChrisTV on 16:9 displays.
Using crop mode together with zoom does not work for me on my 16:9 display. OS is vista, Rendering is VMR9.

Watching movies on my 2nd display (16:9) gives me black bars at the top/bottom and right/left side. I do not want to stretch the tv, so I want to use crop mode together with zoom. Doing this, zooms in the windows, but the black bars on the left / right remain. Zoom should use the full display?

I am a new (trial) user of ChrisTV. I switched my old TV Card for an Hauppauge 250, which is available in a bulk version without any softwarefor 30 EUR (~35 USD) in germany.

Cheers!

You can try the following :
set aspect ratio mode to Stretched and change the zoom area height and width.

I have similar problem. I want to use widescreen 16:9 monitor without stretching. I'm using lite version and I can't make crop mode working. So when I watching widescreen movie I see it surrounded by black bars. Vertical bars is difference between 4:3 and 16:9 ratios and horizontal is the reverse difference.
What preference should i do to crop mode working for sure?

Ok, I found how to use 16:9 monitor for tv:
1. Set 4:3 aspect ratio.
2. Set Crop aspect ratio mode in "Image & sound settings".
3. Set Use overlay mixer in "video rendering & improvement settings".
