Trial Christv Standard And Output File

I have a HP Pc with Vista Ultimate and AsusteK TV card with analogic tv.
It works only with Media Center.
I want use composite and super imput to rec my old films in vhs and Video 8 Hiband.

Now ChrisTv seems work but not in mpeg because I havent 1/2 mpeg code but really i dont know what is when i have almost all codec installed.

- I have to find for it and where because here the post are old and out of date

- which is the best output using this program to keep my memories?

Obviously if this program is fine for me I'll buy it to work with my card otherwise I'll buy something via USB to aquire and digitalizing my old videos.

If is anybody there to answer me as Chris for example?

So you want to digitalize from tape (VHS, Video8 source) with ChrisTV.

Select a codec in Recording Settings that suitable for you: gives high quality, not too large files, no frame skips while realtime recording. Try different codecs that available, test with 1-2 minutes of recording. Digitalize your stuff with the preferred codec.

When done, encode it with XVid/DivX multi-pass compressors to get the video shrinked in size.
