Exception : System Error. Code: 1224

Post by andre5006 »

"The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open - EOSError"

Been running Chris-TV forever. This summer started getting this error (after a Msft Office 2010 update?) - mainly when closing Chris-TV.

Tried to fix by uninstalling (and deleting the Chris-TV folder) and reinstalling Chris-TV. Wizard ran successfuly; but, when using "Program Settings" I now get it any time I close the dialog.

Attached is a LOG file.

MY Setup:
Win 7 - 64 bit
AMD HD 4800 Video Card
AMD 650 Pro Tuner Card (PCIe)
Intel Q9500 CPU - Gigabyte MB
Chris-TV user folders on D drive
Plenty of disc space
Windows updates are current
TrendMicro Security S/W

Any more info? Just ask. Thanks

Probably your Antivirus it's accessing the ChrisTV.xml file at same time.
You should disable the AV for the ChrisTV.xml file or for the whole ChrisTV PVR folder.

If you use AVG, try this:
http://www.avg.com/us-en/faq.num-4428" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
