If I start Christv the tv window will remain black. Sound is OK.
If I move the windiow from my2nd screen to my 1st and back again I have a perfect screen,

My TV card is a PCTV 340e hybrid USB stick.
My videocard is a ASUS EAH6450. (On my previous videocard (Geforce GT 140) I had the same problem.)
I use ChrisTV professional 5.80, but had the same problem on 5.62

Please try to change the video rendering mode to another value, in Program Settings->Video Rendering.

I've tried them all, without sucess. Only if I choose the standard one (so no box checked) it works, but as soon as I enlagre to full screen the screen will be black again. By the way: not entirely black: it is a bit noisy.

From the log file, it shows you are running on Vista, did you tried to use the software on Window 7 or Windows 8 ? If yes do you have same problem ?

You might try to enable the deinterlace filter Dscaler or FFDShow, please make sure you install it first:
