Silent Recording

One thing I would like to have is a "silent recording" feature. It should switch the screen & sound off when a scheduled recording takes place. Actually, both shouldn't even be switched on at all when the computer awakes from standby. Currently, it is not possible to have the computer in a room were someone sleeps when a nightly recording should be done.

BTW: Could it save CPU resources if it would be additionally possible to record w/o on-screen preview?

This is allready in our TODO List.

CPU Usage should decrease a (little) bit in silent mode.

Cool. Just curious: is that just recording w/o preview, or is there really a way to prevent the computer to show life-signs on wakeup before your code gets control to switch them (monitor & sound) off?

To keep your display from activate you will need second video card installed as primary, to prevent BIOS startup messages
