Here are two screenshots.
This is the standard mode.
It is a mockup so basically everything can be customized and new functions can be added for specific usage. The Play/Pause for instance could be a Channel +/- button. The reason they are there is because DScaler had the ability to double as a media player.
This is the compact mode.
Note that the drop shadow is completely optional, but could be done with alpha-blending if it is not too ressource sensitive.
I usually try to keep the interface as efficient as possible, but if you have anything to suggest I'm open to hearing it.
