Hello,
I'm trying to use ChrisTV on a Vaio VGN-A317s - no way I'm installing the recovery disk stuff, it's 6GB of crap.
Problem is the image is broken in half - see here and I get something like 3 fps. Interestingly, the image is displayed correctly if I switch on closed captions, but if I try to take a screenshot the output is still broken.
I have no idea of the exact chipset or specs for the docking station tuner card, and Sony refuses to give me any advice except "format & use recovery disk". I have tried both the lite and pro editions of ChrisTV. Signal comes from cable (Bucharest - Astral/UPC).

Incearca sa activezi in Program Settings->Video Rendering : Overlay sau VMR9.
