Hi.

I have tried everything to get the trial version to broadcast with no luck.
Running Vista, Hauppauge wintv 885. Windows media encoder will work by itself for broadcasting, but with no audio.
The error is "unable to broadcast, please adjust broadcast settings and try again."

I have attached a partial log, any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Please attach MediaStreamer.log file after you encounter the problem.

Please try to disable the video preview while broadcasting.

I tried that many times, no change. (no preview)
Also tried every data rate in the drop down menu, no change.

When using windows media encoder, I found it would only broadcast when I had the speed above 1000 kbps.
It doesn't work with media streamer at all.

Please try to broadcast only video or only audio.

What TV card do you have ?

I tried only video and audio with the same result. The card is a Hauppauge wintv 885. It works fine with Windows Media Encoder broadcasting only video.
I did notice on M$ website that there is a hot fix for WME 9 and I installed it.
Now WME seems to work better, but still no luck with media streamer/

As a side note, I do notice when I try to start the broadcast that the number of connections jumps to 100, then it fails. Not sure what that means.

I wonder if it has to do with the trial version?

If I can get it to work, I would like to purchase the regular version.

This post seems not to have been resolved since September. I just downloaded the trial version and get the same results. Any help at all?
