having difficulty ripping from the bbc iplayer site

proxy won't play files, expat mode will play files but downloader won't rip them saying it needs a proxy.

how can i get this to work?

(i am using latest video downloader v8.40)

so i've tried expat mode with both the downloader and the link finder...

neither work

are you actually doing any updates to the proxy service or have you decided to leave it while advertising it doing things it can't?

you obviously havn't done any work for 6 months on this and it is still advertising that it accesses sites it does not, and the free trial doesn't have full functionality.

Expat Mode works only with browsers.

Download from BBC is not possible with a proxy anymore, you need to have a real UK IP or use a VPN:
