I have downloaded and installed the trial version of Chris TV which works excellently on my new media center PC.

I would like to know whether I can use Chris TV in order to enhance my MCE2005 TV playback. At the moment MCE2005 will not use the inbuilt hardware decoding chip on my onboard graphics card (EPIA SP13000 CN400 graphics chipset) and therefore will not play any live TV. It basically maxes out the processor and crashes the machine after a few minutes.
Within Chris TV I can set options for hardware de-coding and video overlay modes which are vital for me to get MCE2005 to work correctly.

Can Chris TV be used in this way?

If not could anyone tell me how I can force MCE2005 to use the hardware decoding facilities of my graphics chipset? Do i need to mess with DirectShow filters or is it a function of the MCE software itself. I was under the assumption that my default MPEG2 software decoder was responsible for asking for help from hardware?

Any help from experts would be grately appreciated.
