Hello,

The MSP.DLL file in the installed directory of ChrisTV Lite has been remarked as infected by PCTools Spyware Doctor. It said that MSP.DLL is Rogue Antispyware System Defender. Since then ChrisTV has been blocked at startup. Attempting to continue on results in "MSP.DLL can not be loaded", access violation and runtime error etc.

Is this already reported before? What is your recommendation and what should I do about it?
Thank in advance.
Kindly regards

ChrisTV uses the MSP.DLL file to improve the sound for some TV cards.

The report you have received from your antivirus/antispyware is a false positive.

A "false positive", also known as a "false alarm", occurs when anti-virus, spyware protection, anti-keylogging, or anti-hacking software detects a legitimate and trusted program, folder, or file as a problem, when in fact there is no threat.

Thank you for your answer.
It is maybe a false positive generated by Spyware Doctor.

Thank anyway,
