ITV Subtitles

Since the update to 12.16.30, I have been unable to download subtitles for ITV programs.
Is there a trick I am missing?

I posted problems with subtitles from ITV a couple of weeks ago.
No response. Is anyone from ChrisPC monitoring the forum?

Try latest version 12.17.18, it should fix the issue.

Which video you've tried? Do you use a VPN?

Yes, I am using a VPN. I have tried with NordVPN and also with OpenVPN

I should add that the videos play OK (with subtitles)
I can download the episodes, but the subtitles do not download.

Download of the subtitle works.
Try to uninstall the current version. Restart your PC and install version 12.17.18.

Tried reinstalling, it made no difference, I still got the "Failed to Download Subtitles" message.
However, by different combinations of browser, VPN and restarts, sometimes I can get subtitles.
Does your downloader use the browser for the download? or am I more likely having a VPN issue?
Anyway, thanks for all your efforts.

Try using a service like getflix.com, gives better results.
