Application error when opening program - CRASH !

Post by hans302 »

Hi - I have recently updated to Version 11.01.04 and now when I try and run the program I get an Application Error and the program is forced to close.

I have uninstalled and rebooted and reinstalled disabled anti virus and firewall, but still get the same error.

I have also performed a SYSTEM RESTORE back to a point where I know the program was working - But still get the error message

Looking for assistance in resolving this as I use this program every day.

Many thanks
Hans

UPDATE - Hi Chris

As my installation is on a brand new PC, I set up another User Account and installed the software (flawlessly :D ) onto that account. No error message now.

It was then relatively easy to copy over all of my other stuff to that account.

Have no idea what caused the error, but suspect it has something to do with the Registry transfer from my old PC to this one. I had another couple of issues similar to this which made me wonder.

So - All back up and working again (at the moment) - Please ignore my PM to SUPPORT email.

Great Software !

Hans
