Anybody Else having problems downloading from BBC iPlayer

Hi,

is anybody having problems downloading files from the BBC iPlayer site. The files start to download, but take a very long time. Some of them will stop downloading after about 20% and convert the file.

Not having any trouble with other sites - their files download fairly quickly, with no problems.

I've re-downloaded the latest version of the Downloader Pro, but it is still slow.

any advice would be appreciated

Hi Chris,

I'm using a Smart DNS with Getflix.

Just checked my account with them and noticed that they have changed the DNS Server numbers - Not sure when as whenever I log in, Getflix automatically runs a service test and tells me that I've passed. And it has been working for other sites, just not the BBC.

Anyway, I have now changed the DNS server numbers on my pc and trying to download a file from BBC iPlayer - it is working.

If anyone else uses Getflix, you might want to check the DNS server numbers.

So, it looks like my problem is fixed
