new update

am trying to download from certain channels which i could without worry before. now as soon as you start to download, it says "file ready to play" - yet it hasnt downloaded at all?

Which quality you try to download ? Does it show the size of the file or "Checking..." ?

it starts with checking and then gives the file size. its he same definition as before...

1280 x 720.

i'll keep trying it as you said its downloaded

still doing it. it does the checking briefly and then gives the file size. it then shows "0.03" as it gets ready to start downloading and then immediately says "file ready" etc as it would normally do after a successful download. so not sure how you managed it on the same update i have?

ironicially the channel has just uploaded another 4 vids and i downloaded them with no problems

Try to (re)install the software and make sure the software it's not blocked by your Antivirus to access the internet.

ill try re installation. but it has nothing to do with anti virus as i can download other you tube files without any problem. if it was the antivirus then i wouldnt be able to do anything. and if that was the case i would simply stop using the downloader and seek an alternative given that Norton is one of the major anti virus programs out there - or simply wait until the next update was made here and try again
