Chris,
Regarding version: 12.18.18
I have had heaps of problems trying to download this version.
But with "brute force" I eventually was able to get a full download (two actually!).
Windows / Google / Whoever did NOT want that file on my computer.
I use IDM (Internet Download Manager) for all my downloads and each time I tried it failed with a timeout error about 2/3 in.
Windows 10 told me that the download was an unsafe app and would not run.
I also tried Google Chrome browser download (bypassing IDM) and 2/3 or so in kept getting a network error.
The same with Edge chrome - different error message but same result.
Using IDM to download I was only allowed one channel and no resume capability (that may be your setup? Never noticed before)
And the transfer rate was wildly fluctuating and just before the error(s) popped-up it was very slow.
BTW. The Free Version downloaded just fine when I tried it only the PRO version failed.
Just now I installed 12.18.18 without any "fuss" and it runs OK.
Don't know if only I was affected but I doubt it.
Regards
Laurie

I have the same problem. I had to downloaded it from my phone. You don't happen to use Verizon FiOS do you? If you do, it might be related to them blocking a bunch of DDOS-Guard IP addresses last month.

Youtube has just introduced a new URL format in search results, for example:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/OORBa32WFcM

Could the Downloader please be made to support this new format? Thanks in advance! :-)

Sad to say that this issue has again reared its ugly head once again. Same issue as described before. Added a YouTube video and watch it vanish from VTD.

Yup, the new version is not usable, all videos you add just time out and disappear

Yes, v12.19.23 does solve the problem - many thanks again!!

ps: when I tried to post this, I did so first by quoting your message ("Please try version 12.19.23, it should fix the issue") and then adding my one-line response, and I got an error message from the forum saying that my message contains too few characters. I tried adding several hundreds of chars, but the error kept coming back and I could not post my reply. I had to remove your quote, and then I could post this reply. Weird!
