ITV stopped working

Post by BillyBull »

It appears ITV stopped working, hasn't worked since friday.
"No video detected" message.

- Using English VPN/DNS
- newest version 9.4.21

Download works correctly, check that your firewall/AV is not blocking the software from accessing the internet.

I can't get it to work.

-Reinstalled the program
-BBC & other websites work fine

If DNS/VPN are not good for ITV, would I get the "no video detected on this page" message or a different one.

Not sure what else to say it just stopped working for me.

I've tried all different VPN & DNS fromt the Vpn Provider I am subscriped to & if I login at ITV I can watch everthing.

So my question is, if you don't have a VPN at ITV do you get the "no video detected" message or just like at the BBC you get a "you need a proxy" message

Does Link Finder work for ITV in Internet Explorer mode?

Both Chrome & IE work, don't get any download links, just the links for the advertisments.

Does the video play in Link Finder ?
You need to enable RTMP Sniffer to detect those videos in IE.

Appears if on the link webpage there is no valid video info.

Try to disable in Settings->"Monitor clipboard.." and use the Paste and add button to add the video.
Maybe some software on your PC is changing the link in the clipboard.

- The video plays in Link Finder
- I am not using the clipboard.
- I've not installed any new program or done anything else, nothing strange detected anywhere on the drives.

RMTP sniffer does not work for me,I've opened topics, read other people's topics about it, but I've tried the RMTP sniffer on fresh windows 7 installation and it still failed. Maybe the router settings need to be changed or the ISP is doing something. I tried some port forwarding in the past, and it did not do anyting for the RMTP sniffer.

Just to be absolutly certain if you disable your VPN you get a different message on ITV?

You should get a "you need a proxy" message.

But if the software can't extract video details it will give you the no video message. Either the software is blocked by your AV/firewall somehow or the webpage that it downloads is not a ITV page.

Try to disable your AV or firewall.
