Download Failure Returns

Hi ChrisPC,

I can see that this difficulty has reared its ugly head many times over the years. I've seen the advice regarding downloading latest version, wait 30mins and try again and close and reopen the software. None of these fix the problem and I think I'm already using the latest free version: 6_24_0330.

I would not be surprised to hear that YT has tweaked their end again to make life difficult. My previously consistently working on-line download/convert facility also failed a couple of weeks ago. I've recently tried several competitor's software, but I can't get any to work.

ChrisPC's interface appears easy to use, but is only functional to a point (~80% download, then fail).

Perhaps I just have to wait for an updated version to get ahead of the game again.

Any suggestions welcomed, because I'd like to persist with this software, possibly even purchase a 'Pro' licence, but at the moment I don't see that upgrading will achieve much.

Thanks in anticipation and for the hard work that clearly goes into maintaining the software.
