hot-key to hide, or unhide the recording box?

I can't find the answer in your tutorial, although I may have missed the info when searching? Can someone tell me how to "show" the recording box when recording part of my game?

Oh, when I click "record" the box disappears, doesn't show within screen, and I don't know how to get it back except maybe just go to desktop. Seems like a hassle though. maybe simpler way (settings I didn't see etc).
