Suddenly won't connect to UK VPNs

Free VPN Connection worked fine for months, connecting quickly and surely mostly to the first in the list, but suddenly it won't connect to ANY of 20 servers but #13-17, which are detected by ITV and BBC as proxies.
The Free VPN Connection error message either says it's a VPN tunnel problem or the RAS name didn't resolve. It's the same on three different laptops and connected to three different WiFi networks (on the same router).
I've also tried your Proxy products, which connect, but can't get me past the BBC and ITV detectors, so all content is blocked.
