sound pro vs. lite

i have installed both ChrisTV PVR Professional and ChrisTV Lite. The ChrisTV PVR Professional works flawlessly, but is really much more than i want. I really only want to be able to watch tv from my tv card on the computer, which ChrisTV Lite should do. Both show the video, but only the ChrisTV PVR Professional will output any sound. Is there a setting on Lite to fix this, or is it just unable to feed sound to the system?
