We recently bought a dual-tuner USB 2.0 by Avermedia (model TwinStar 835). The device works fine with its own bundled software.

We downloaded the trial Chris-TV 5.55 complete version as we wish to make use of this powerful software. Unfortunately, after many many attempts, the christv software cannot recognise the device.

Is there any incompatibility or settings that we should enter?

ChrisTV PVR has support for analog TV cards only.
