No 2-channel-Sound, only mono & stereo

I have only "mono" or "stereo" to choose (right click - driver settings - sound mode) for 2-channel-sound (sound A (main) = local language / sound B (secondary) = original language).

I have to set balance of main PC sound to total right and increase volume to only hear sound-B (original).

But same program with different TV-card (not pinnacle, but FlyTV) only shows "mono" (= main sound), Dual A (= sound A local) and Dual B (= sound B original), but neither "stereo" nor "Dual A + Dual B"; there I can set "Dual B" to hear original language.

Why? How to configure to always have all options?
