Force Background Recording

Hi Chris,

necessity is the mother of all invention: and I have a necessity. Background Recording is amazing; it means I can have something recorded from tv while watching a DVD. This works fine as long as I use the scheduler.

Now say in middle of watching a dvd I find out something needs recording, but it has already started. Now using the scheduler means it would take longer to setup and I would have to give it a while to reload the settings. I can't record at that point, as it would bring in the sound from tv while I am watching the dvd.

I would like to see a force background recording option: I think that would be really cool.
