Since ChrisTV already allows to save TimeShift buffer - why not adding the feature to go back and forth the video while still recording (just like MCE - doesn't matter if you are recording or not, you can still use TimeShifting).

Yes - Regardless of Timeshifting, Recording should be able to be paused. For example: during commercial breaks.
