Recording Time

The only feature I am missing in ChrisTV is when the following situation happens:

Sometimes I have no time to schedule a program for recording since the program will start in 1 minute and I forgot to schedule. I than start recording manually. In this case I miss an option to input the time for recording after I have started the recording (I mean either an input field where I can input "stop recording in xxx minutes" or to choose an absolute time for stopping).
At the moment I have to wait until the program is finished and to stop recording manually. So I cannot leave the house or got to bed or so.

This feature would really complete ChrisTV to being perfect.
Any chance that this will be realized (or is it already possible and I didn't find it)?
