Virus detected??

Hi Chris,
after installing YTD Pro Version 12.04.16, my GData Antivirus Programme reports a virus "Gen:Variant.Jacard.180244" and refuses to start YTD.
What's happening?

Ths is a false positive. The software is clean.

I cannot get rid of the virus message and therefore my system refuses to open the programme.
Maybe someone declared YTD to be "unwelcome software" in Germany?

We've contacted GData about this and waiting for a reply...

Meantime you can add VideoTube Downloader folder to the Monitor Exceptions:

Added folder and programme to the GData exceptions for both manual and real time search and protection and reinstalled YTD.
Still Windows does not open YTD referring to the alleged virus and security settings. Even after renaming the programme file.

Hi Chris,

hooray, it works! After the today's update of GData's antivirus data and some "additional components" everything now works fine again. No more false positive virus detection and YTD running fine as usual.
